3-day Motor Vehicle Fire Investigation Course

Consisting of 24 hours of tested instruction in determining origin and cause of motor vehicle fires.

Included in this course will be a live demonstration of vehicle fire utilizing the team concept. Students will “dig” an investigation of a vehicle fire scenario and construct a report to present their findings to the class.

Based on Chapter 26 of NFPA 921, topics will include vehicle investigation safety, fuel packages, ignition sources, vehicle systems, and identification.

Students need to bring gloves, proper footwear, proper eye protection, and preferably wear a long sleeved shirt.

The training subjects provided meet their respective requirements of NFPA 1033, 2022 edition. This conference is providing 24 hours of tested training. Testing will be completed on CFItrainer.net, using a PIN number that will be provided at the end of the conference.
