Help Stop Arson in Indiana
The Indiana Arson Hotline was set up to enable citizens to report suspicious activity or knowledge of arson crimes committed in Indiana. When you call the Arson Hotline you do not have to give your name. Rewards up to $5000 are offered for information leading to a conviction.

IN-IAAI gives out two awards annually. The Investigator of the Year Award, and the Terry T. Fleming Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Lawrence W. Tuck Investigator of the Year Award
The Lawrence W. Tuck Investigator of the Year Award is given to a fire investigator that demonstrates exceptional performance in the area of fire and explosive investigations. The recipient is selected by a committee from nominations received from members.
The 2018 award winner was Kevin Heflin, Anderson Fire Department.

Terry T. Fleming Lifetime Achievement Award
The Terry T. Fleming Lifetime Achievement Award was inaugurated in 2012. The award was created in honor of Terry T. Fleming and Mr. Fleming was the first recipient. Terry was with the Carmel Fire Department and after retiring worked at Donan Engineering. Terry passed away in 2012.
Greg Gates, Indianapolis Fire Department, was the 2018 Lifetime Achievement Award winner.

The James L. Smith IAAI Chapter of the Year Award
In 2004, the Indiana Chapter (#14) was selected as the IAAI Outstanding Chapter of the Year. The Indiana Chapter continues to excel in many areas, thanks mainly to the participation and individual efforts and accomplishments of its members.
