Proposed Indiana Chapter Bylaws Changes - 2016
The Indiana Chapter of the IAAI is updating our Bylaws to continue to be current with how the organization is evolving. Changes were discussed in our last general meeting and as required in the bylaws; we are posting the proposed changes on our website for a period of 30 days and also emailing them out to the membership.
Items to be removed are
italicized and marked out. Items which have been added are in red.
This timeframe is to allow the membership an opportunity to review the proposed changes and to make comments or suggestions.
If suggestions are received, the Bylaw committee will review them and make changes if warranted. If needed, we will repost and email the second draft out with added suggestions. We will then post a final version on the website no less than 30 days prior to the annual meeting.
As the update is substantial, the vote will be on the document as a whole. The vote on the updated bylaws will be at our Annual Membership meeting during the Indiana Fire Investigation Conference. We look forward to your comments and suggestions as well as to seeing you at the Indiana Fire Investigation Conference August 15 – 17, 2016.
